International students welcome to share in one of the most beautiful places in the world—Kamloops, British Columbia
Canadian education is highly regarded around the world. Canadian English is standard, proper and easily understood internationally. Studying in Canada provides international students with an opportunity to cultivate an understanding of ethnic diversity, develop a love for outdoor life and experience a culture that embraces differences. Canada is a great country and Kamloops Christian School provides an ideal learning environment.
Students from a variety of countries attend KCS for short- or long-term stays. Our English language and Canadian culture program integrates international students into regular classrooms with Canadians. A minimum of three hours per week of ESL (English as a Second Language) support services are provided to each student. Also, our “International Ambassador” program helps students integrate into their new school and make friends. While attending KCS, students live with Canadian Christian families who provide a caring family environment.
Kamloops Christian School provides our guest students with a safe and welcoming environment. International students enjoy friendly, social interaction with English speaking adults and peers, many making lasting friendships that they carry back home.
International students who complete the BC Graduation Program (Grades 10 to 12) receive the British Columbia Dogwood Diploma. Graduates may continue studies at many post-secondary institutions including our highly regarded local university, Thompson Rivers University.
