High School Humanities Teacher
(part-time)
0.7 FTE position (four days a week from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm, not including Thursdays) beginning August 24, 2026. Salary ranges from $38,909.42 to $68,185.56 depending on teaching experience and qualifications. This teaching assignment includes English, Bible, History.

​Elementary Teacher (part-time)
0.8 FTE teaching position beginning August 24, 2026 (four days a week). Salary ranges from $43,841.60 to $76,828.80 depending on teaching experience and qualifications. Classroom teaching includes core subjects (Literacy, Numeracy, Bible, Health, Social Studies, Science). Prep time is provided by specialty teachers (Music, Art, PE).

Outdoor Education Teacher (part-time)
0.4 FTE teaching position beginning August 24, 2026 (two days a week). Salary ranges from $21,920.80 to $38,414.40 depending on teaching experience and qualifications. Our "Wonder Walk" program includes "place based" learning about our local habitat and community resources as well as "Teaching for Transformation" principles as the students experience awe of God's creation and practice ways to care for creation. Applicants must be physically able to be outside in a variety of weather during all seasons and able to navigate a variety of terrains as the students explore local hiking trails and habitats. Having a Class 4 Driving License is preferred but not required.

​Fitness Teacher (part-time)
0.17 FTE position from August 24, 2026-January 29, 2027 or February 2, 2027- June 25, 2027 depending on the 2026-27 timetable. Salary ranges from $4,658.21 to $8,163.05 depending on teaching experience and education. Candidates must have experience and certification in fitness training.

Speech and Language Pathology Assistant- SLPA (part-time)
KCS is accepting applications for a part-time Speech and Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) working with K-12 students on our Speech Therapy caseload. Applicants must be comfortable working with a wide variety of learning needs. Experience working with children with disabilities is an asset. Training specific to the role will be provided.
As an SLPA you will:

attend speech sessions with the Speech Language Pathologist

provide follow up speech sessions with students and write, plan, and implement speech therapy intervention

complete documentation and report on the progress of the students to staff
-
manage the speech therapy schedule
-
manage referral and consent forms
We currently have 1 part-time position available (16.25 hours/week) starting August 31, 2026 . EA certification or equivalent relevant training is required. Depending on experience and certification, pay is $25.34-$30.52 per hour.
This part-time position may be combined with another part-time Educational Assistant position.
