What is the KCS PAC?
The Parent Action Committee (PAC) is an active volunteer group that represents all the parents and guardians of KCS students.
PAC’s mandate is:

to support the school through community engagement

Remembrance Day social time & refreshments

Elementary Christmas program social time & refreshments

Grandparents’ Tea refreshments and hospitality

Staff appreciation events

to support the school through fundraising and grants

$25,000 donated to Athletics in 2022-23

$15,000 donated to Technology in 2023-24

100 HS lockers and 100 MS lockers purchased 2020-222
-
Key fundraising activities include running Munch-a-lunch (lunch options twice a week) and the Spring Raffle.
Who is part of KCS PAC?
All parents and guardians of students are voting members of PAC. Since you are a voting member, you can attend our monthly meetings. We highly encourage your attendance! Please email pac@kamcs.org if you have questions.
Meetings are organized and run by the PAC executive: the Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, and Secretary. PAC is supported by the KCS Community Engagement Coordinator and the KCS Development Coordinator.
What is a PAC meeting like?
PAC meets for one hour at 8:30am on the second Tuesday of the month. This meeting provides updates regarding community engagement and fundraising activities.
